I read the following phrase in a book about Social Entrepreneurship. It says it’s one of the characteristics of a social entrepreneur. Can anybody please explain to me what it means? It goes like this "Know that all resource allocations are really stewardship investments". Is it trying to say that however way the entrepreneur is allocating his resources (money, manpower, assets etc) is really a way of him being better at managing (hence "stewardship investment") in the long run?
I thought it meant that investments should be treated as a means to an end – rather than the end themselves.
