I only get £78.50 a week. I can’t work because I am severely mentally ill and I have to stay in supported accommodation. I can’t afford to pay for water, a TV licence and I need some new furniture and some repairs done to my computer.
There is no way I can afford any of it on the money I get.
Has anyone else applied for a budgeting loan? How much will they give me based on my income?

What is the £78.50 a week for? Is that Job Seekers or Disability Allowance? I’m pretty sure you should be entitled to more… I would definitely contact the Job Centre and see what you’re entitled to.
I have had a budgeting loan before, they pay anything up to £800 in my experience…and then you pay it back monthly, they take it direct out of your JSA or whatever allowance you get.
